located in our facility 85 feet underground. The
facility is carved out of solid rock and is climate
controlled. All of the equipment is safe from natural
disasters that might wipe out an above ground facility
and put your equipment at risk. There is 24 hour
security provided 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Server Availability
Stronghold Data’s Remote Mirrored Server gives you the
added peace of mind of knowing that you have an exact
duplicate of your onsite server in a safe place. In the
event of a disaster where your onsite server was
rendered useless and your internet connection is lost,
Stronghold Data can ship your remote mirrored server to
you overnight. Our service gets your data available in a
minimal amount of time without having to try to
rebuild your on site server or restore your data from
backup tapes.
Monitored Daily
Our facility is monitored by our staff of Certified
Network Engineers on a daily basis to assure that your
systems environment is properly maintained and at peak
performance.
Continuous Byte-Level
Replication
Your information is monitored by NSI’s Double-Take
software for any changes to all selected files on your
production server and then replicated at the byte-level
to the secured remote server. Unlimited Distance
Replication Stronghold Data can replicate your
production server from any part of the world to a target
server located in our underground facility. Partnered
with Double-Take software, Stronghold Data utilizes
standard IP networks for data replication. By having an
off site secured mirrored server you have maximum
protection against data loss from system failures or any
other type of disaster. Registered Internet IP addresses
are
available for configuring your own VPN directly to the
target mirrored servers.
Hardware and
Application Independent
Through advanced technology you are afforded the
flexibility to choose the best of breed hardware and
software for your growing business. With Double-Take’s
patented STAR technology you get complete data
replication integrity for virtually any application, and
it is certified for all editions of Windows Server 2003
and Windows 2000.
Bandwidth Control
You can put a cap on the amount of bandwidth that is
utilized by the system to minimize or even eliminate the
impact on application and network performance for your
company.
Failover Capabilities
Simply set your production server to failover to your
secured remote server in the event of any type of
failure and you will be running again without any loss
of time, money or data. You can also protect multiple
servers to the same target server. Integrates with
various backup solutions. Performs Queued Task Processing
with
the use of replicated data so you can perform remote
backups and snapshots at any time without impacting your
production server. You can also insert commands that
will automatically trigger remote backups and snapshots,
or any other task that requires a specific time or
responds to specific application events.
Utilizes Standard
Network Protocols
Any existing LAN, WAN, VPN, or NAT IP network can be
used to replicate your data to your target server in our
secure underground facility.
Unlimited Disk Queuing
By queuing replicated data to disk during particularly
heavy network usage times you can later transmit that
data to the target server when network usage allows.
Removes Stress
With your Remote Mirrored Server, data migrations,
centralized backups, web balancing, and server
consolidation operations are almost foolproof since
there is an exact duplicate of the original server. When
you would have been down during a migration to a new
server you can continue to operate by utilizing the
failover until the new server is ready to go saving both
time and money.
Enhances SQL Server’s
Data Protection
SQL offers its own copy utilities but they don’t
replicate data changes in real-time, nor do they
replicate non-data changes. With the use of Double-Take
software Stronghold Data can make sure you are up to
date with all data and non-data changes as they occur
without being required to take your SQL server offline
and with minimal performance impact.
Protects Exchange
With so many businesses depending on Microsoft Exchange
they stand to lose productivity, revenues and goodwill
if their Exchange infrastructure goes down. Stronghold

Remote Server Mirroring your Exchange data will be

Remote Data Backup
Stronghold Data maintains a
24/7 facility that consistently houses your backup data
in the event of any type of failure at your business
site, whether natural or unnatural.
We do this by installing a very small software program
on your system which automatically sends data backups
through a very secure and efficient process to our group
of servers at scheduled intervals. Our system utilizes
several key components to make this happen.
Your data is compressed with an incredibly strong
compression tool that far surpasses the capabilities of
standard data compressors.
A security method called 448-Bit Blowfish Encryption
(highest level security available) is deployed to
maintain protection levels desired by both HIPAA
regulations and Financial Institution requirements.
The data is securely transmitted to our servers
through either the Internet or a dial-up connection
utilizing your secure username and password. Your
information is only available to you. Not even our staff
of engineers can access your data without you granting
us this ability to assist you.
Once the data is on our servers, it is immediately
available for recovery to your system at any time. And
we keep a minimum of 30 days worth of history for you to
access.

anti-virus signatures are updated in real-time
without any administrative intervention

organization as a whole are always available
through the Management Console.
Stronghold Data’s approach to
spam identification is to use a blend of the
best filtering techniques and apply them to
every message. The test results are then
integrated using a dynamic scoring engine, which
provides a likelihood that the message is spam.
This approach makes it easy to take action based
on different classes of junk. For example,
messages that have a high spam probability can
be deleted, medium probability messages can be
quarantined while low probability email can be
